[Review] 10th Anniversary of Celebration without permission! Experience the evolution of all external recorders with "DBR-M4010" --AV Watch

People's consumption styles are changing as the problem of the new coronavirus prolongs, as typified by words such as "consumption of nests" and "home time." According to the author's personal story, clothing-related consumption, which was not originally bought by the author, has further decreased, and the communication contract for smartphones has been revised to a smaller capacity. I increased the number of trips a little in the latter half of 2021, but I avoided traveling with bullet trains and planes as much as possible, and within the range that can be reached by car.

On the other hand, the time to enjoy the video at home has increased dramatically. Underpinning this is video-on-demand (SVOD), and another is the main theme of this article, "Complete Recording." It is a system / concept that allows you to record multiple TV broadcasts 24 hours a day and watch programs for days to weeks at any time.

The pioneer in this area is TVS REGZA. The company began to release hardware compatible with all recordings in the latter half of the 2000s, but the famous machine "DBR-M190", which I personally consider to be the turning point, was released in 2011. In other words, we have just celebrated our 10th anniversary.

I bought the DBR-M190 right after its release, and since then I've loved the whole record anyway. However, it is also true that the hardware has become old after 10 years. So, in August 2009, I repurchased the latest model of the series, the "DBR-M4010", but I was impressed by its evolution and the essential part that has not changed even after 10 years.

So, this time, I would like to reiterate the appeal of the complete recording while celebrating the 10th anniversary of the release of DBR-M190.
