YOSHIROTTEN (YO): Casio received a request from Casio to design with the theme of "Tokyo music", and then the concept of "Music Night Tokyo".For me, Tokyo music is an image of night clubs and live houses, so I dropped such elements as a design.In addition, this project itself was starting two years ago and it was supposed to be an event involving various people ...

YO: That's right.Unfortunately, I couldn't stop playing events and clubs that were commonplace until Corona.

Did the music scene in Tokyo change before and after Corona?

YAMARCHY (YA): I think there was a change.For example, in MITSUKI, it was a place where adults in the fashion scene gathered until the corona, but recently the impression that the number of younger generations has clearly increased.

Certainly, I feel that the younger generation has emerged in the scene.

KENCHAN (K): The event itself has decreased rather, and we are now going to play where we couldn't go.Now that artists can't be called from overseas, I feel that all generations are enthusiastic and exciting the local scenes.

Mars89 (M): All generations think that we have to manage this situation.We DJs also lost the site at a stretch, so we did a distribution event instead and created content that linked images.I did it with Ken -chan (KENCHAN).

YO: Mars (Mars89) also participates in Saveourspace, right?

M: That's right.

YO: The DW-5600 and AW-500, which are used in this base model, were released in the 1980s, and at that time, it was a time when rave began in various countries, mainly in Europe.At that time, magazines called MIX (Mix) and PUMP (pumps) were introducing the birth of the second Summer of Love and Detroit Techno, and nowI linked it strangely in me.So, this time, I wanted to make a model that draws music and street exchanges, so I decided to make a video that could make sound.

YO: I've always wanted to ask Mars for music, so I decided to make a teaser movie and contacted me via Facebook.

K: What?It was a Facebook ...

M: I was happy to be able to call out on Facebook (laughs) In such a flow, I first saw the concept and design, and chose the parts and textures that seemed to fit it.

YO: That's right.In the first place, this teaser movie wanted to ask those who are active in the night scene in Tokyo, both sounds and images.For example, Mars also worked on not only DJs, but also the music of the Saveourspace Shikari Fashion Show, so I wanted to use his electronic music in the current Tokyo night scene.Also, Ken -chan meets and plays at a party or bar every week, and thinks he is a person who knows the glue of Tokyo now, so if you combine such a video of Mars and Ken -chan.It would be interesting.So, in the end, I felt like I should throw only the base graphics and do it freely.
